What does School Council do?
Connaught School Council is made up of parent volunteers, our principal, staff and community representatives. Our goals are to:
- Enhance the school experience for all Connaught students
- Facilitate communication between the school, parents and the broader community
- Identify needs of the Connaught school community that are not met by Board budgets
- Plan activities, host events and raise funds to help provide a positive school experience for all Connaught students
- Function as an advisory body to the Principal and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board
Connaught School Council meetings are held in the school library on the third Tuesday of the month, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. No RSVP or experience necessary, just a desire to be active in your child’s school.
